Human Team
One of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s main assets is the people that work for the firm, and one of its main aims is to ensure their personal fulfillment. Encouraging values and a solid corporate culture help to ensure that they feel an active part of a professional project of the future. We offer a large number of initiatives and benefits aimed at increasing their satisfaction and sense of belonging. These include:
- “Compendio”: This annual program on corporate culture has been held for more than 10 years. Lasting up to three days, it brings together all the people who have joined the firm since the last Compendio. The aim is to give new arrivals an idea of the firm’s values through informal discussions and outdoor training activities, offering them first-hand accounts of the firm’s origins and its plans for the future. In short, it allows new recruits to immerse themselves in the Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira corporate culture in an environment outside the workplace.
- Cuatrecasas free time: This program promotes and subsidizes cultural and leisure activities that have been proposed by the firm’s staff. Some of the more notable recent events have included a go-kart championship, a visit to the Egyptian museum and the now traditional Christmas circus event.
- Cuatrecasas flexible remuneration: This initiative offers the firm’s staff social benefits under highly advantageous conditions, in terms of both prices and tax savings. The key feature of these benefits is that they are not restricted to staff members, but also extend to all their family members.
- Alumni; Lawyers who have worked at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira can remain in contact with the firm via this on-line platform. We also organize regular events to maintain personal and professional contact.
- Pro bono advice: This is an initiative that has arisen out of the concern for social welfare shown by the latest generations of lawyers. At Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, we are committed to a number of voluntary programs and provide both the financial and professional resources required to ensure they have a substantial effect. These include offering free legal advice to private individuals and non-profit organizations.
