Despite the recent decline in M&A activity, the experts expect to see signs of recovery in the Iberian M&A market in the coming months. The partners of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s corporate practice gave their opinions, participating in three of the five panels. Fernando Torrente (head of the practice in Madrid) discussed corporate M&A transactions in Spain, while Victor Xercavins (head of the practice in Barcelona) discussed venture capital. Fernando Bernad, a partner and member of the firm’s Project Finance Group, participated in the panel discussion on opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
