The highly specialized Corporate Finance Group has extensive knowledge of the sector, client needs, relevant regulatory and supervisory authorities, and the latest developments in the banking and financial practice. Our counseling includes all corporate and structured operations involving financing and fixed income, both national and international, including structured and project financing; sale and lease-back transactions; other models of asset outsourcing; asset, mortgage and synthetic securitizations; assignments of credit; issuing of fixed-income instruments as well as other financial instruments; and consumer credits.

Our practice also includes custom designing financing structures, either single-lender or syndicated, in one or several tranches, paying special attention to the transaction’s needs both in real estate and corporate projects; structuring  real guarantees and security interests based on the specific needs of each case, optimizing the guarantees’ costs and the consumption of their own resources; and bankruptcy issues, to effectively ensure bankruptcy remoteness and a proper guarantee structure. We also cover debt restructuring. 

We offer specialized counseling on all issues relating to the client’s resources and related matters, in the case of credit entities as well as any other types of entities.

Working with the other Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira groups in a multi-disciplinary manner, we plan and structure complex financing transactions that also involve other branches of law.
