Alberto Campo

Mr. Campo has extensive experience in banking and finance law, having handled both national and international transactions.

He has advised leading financial institutions and business groups on asset finance, corporate finance, project finance  (particularly to finance road infrastructures, renewable energies and charter schools), corporate acquisition finance, real estate finance (particularly to finance the building of shopping centers), structured finance and securitized transactions, restructuring and refinancing transactions, pre-bankruptcy matters, distressed debt sales, and transactions involving over-the-counter financial derivatives, repurchase agreements  and securities lending.

In 2002, the firm seconded Mr. Campo to the Brazilian law firm Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados in Sao Paulo, where he worked in its banking and finance practices, and in 2007, it seconded him to the international law firm Sidley Austin, LLP in London.

He lectures regularly at courses and training seminars organized by academic institutions such as the Center for Financial Studies, the Institute of Stock Exchange Studies, and the CEU Institute for Postgraduate Studies.
