André Gonçalves Pereira
Founder partner of Gonçalves Pereira, Castelo Branco & Associados.
He was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Portugal from January 1981 to June 1982.
He is a former representative of Portugal in the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, OECP, and UNESCO, among others.
Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1959.
He has been lecturing on international law at the University of Lisbon since 1962. He is a visiting lecturer at Columbia University, and at universities in Paris, Madrid and Rio de Janeiro.
Works published on Public Law in Portugal and abroad.
Phd from the University of Lisbon Law School, in 1962.
Holder of several decorations and academic degrees such as, Grand Cross Order of Merit, Republic of Italy, 1981. Grand Officer Légion d'Honneur, France, 1982. Grand Cross Cruzeiro do Sul, Brazil, 1982.
