Aurora Campins
A corporate lawyer and academic with ample experience in teaching and legal research, Ms. Campins has been a member of the firm's Corporate and Finance Knowledge Management Group since 2006.
A doctor of law and lecturer at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Ms. Campins has been lecturing on various areas of corporate law at the UAM's faculties of law and business administration since 1992. The main focus of her research is company law, particularly professional limited liability companies, a subject on which she wrote a monograph published by Cívitas in 2000 and a number of articles of opinion that influenced the Professional Limited Liability Companies Act and related doctrine.
She is also the author of various articles specializing in corporate matters (e.g., by-laws, removal and exclusion of shareholders, directors, dividends, and general conditions) and the economic analysis of law.
She is a member of the research team at the UAM led by Cándido Paz-Ares, professor of corporate law, under whose direction she has participated in several subsidized legal research projects.
She has lectured at several professional associations, and was a collaborating lecturer in the Master in Business Legal Consultancy organized by the Universidad Pontificia de Madrid at its Institute of Further Education, as well as on the Master in the Economic Analysis of Law at the Fundación Ortega y Gasset.
In addition, she has been lecturing in the UAM's official Master in Business Law since its first edition, where she coordinates the module Corporate Governance.
She has held several management positions at the UAM's Faculty of Law, such as Deputy Director of the Department of Economic and Social Private Law, covering corporate law, civil law, labor law, procedural law, and Roman law; and the history of law.
