Ms. Peraferrer has ample experience in litigation in the judicial-review courts and the Constitutional Court, as well in as advising on public law.
On leave from the body of counsels of the Catalan Regional Government, she has held various positions with the government, including deputy advisor to the director of the Legal Cabinet, chief counsel on litigation affairs at the Legal Cabinet, legal advisor to the government, and legal advisor to the public authorities on various areas of administrative law (consumer affairs, tourism and leisure, gaming, and the environment).
She focuses her practice on advising on pre-dispute matters, and leading cases and defending clients in a wide range of areas: public procurement; administrative concessions; government expropriations and the liability of public administration for the actions and omissions of civil servants; constitutional law; procedural administrative law; pharmaceutical law; consumer law and labeling; and law on hotels, tourism and leisure, and entertainment.
He also specializes in territorial and urban planning; housing and commercial facilities; environmental protection and waste management; water and mining law; transport law; defense before authorities and courts; disputes with the public administrations over settlement appeals and tax sanctions; law on competition; defending clients before the Constitutional Court; and handling cases of accounting liability before the Court of Auditors and similar courts of the autonomous regions
Ms. Peraferrer lectures on administrative law in postgraduate courses at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
While working for the Catalan Regional Government, she was a lecturer of the Catalan Police Academy’s legal area and has participated in training courses for members of the Catalan Regional Government’s legal service. She has spoken on preparing and drafting bills and regulations, and on presenting amendments to legislative procedures in the Spanish parliament.
