Coro Fernández-Rañada

After working extensively as a corporate lawyer, Ms. Fernández-Rañada joined Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira's Corporate and Finance Knowledge Management Group, a department whose main objectives include establishing high-quality standards in the firm's commercial documents, keeping lawyers trained and updated, and resolving technical consultations.

She has ample experience in merger and acquisition transactions, and securities-market transactions. She has participated in many company sale transactions, mergers, business restructurings, public offerings for sale or subscription of securities, and take-over bids, and has advised publicly-traded and private companies on corporate matters.

Ms. Fenández-Rañada lectures in the Master in Corporate Finance & Law at ESADE (Corporate Law Module) and in the Master in Business Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Business Mergers and Acquisitions Module).

Author of several articles and publications, her most notable works are as follows: Capítulo Contraprestación y garantías de la oferta (Chapter on Offering Considerations and Guarantees), co-author with Javier Carvajal García Valdecasas; Derecho de OPAs. Estudio Sistemático del Régimen de las Ofertas Públicas de Adquisición en el Derecho Español (Corporate Takeover Law.
