Eduardo Ramírez

Mr. Ramírez has extensive experience in providing corporate advice to finance companies and designing innovative products for banks, financial entities, investment funds, insurance companies, pension schemes, provident societies and others.

He held the position of deputy director-general of Tributación de las Operaciones Financieras (Taxation of Financial Transactions) from 1987 to 1995 and was a member of the Spanish delegation in several working parties in the European Community.

He lectures at Instituto de Empresa, Escuela de Hacienda Pública, Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas and Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros.

He is also the coordinating lecturer of taxation of financial transactions in the European financial analyst course. He is a frequent speaker and contributor to the specialized media and is the author of over 100 publications.

Mr. Ramírez has participated and spoken at various seminars on international taxation and has written several articles on this subject.
