Fernando Cerdá

He provides specialized legal advice on corporate law, bankruptcy law, company law, competition and intellectual property law, accounting law, contract law and admiralty law.

Professor of corporate law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. He was awarded a Bachelor of Laws with special distinction at Universidad de Valencia and a Doctor of Laws with two special distinctions (Vittorio Emanuele II and Leone Bolaffio awards) at Università degli Studi di Bologna. He also studied on scholarship at Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung (Max-Planck-Institut München).

He is the author of several books and articles on these topics, published in Germany, Italy and Spain, and frequently delivers lectures at congresses, conferences and seminars. He has helped prepare several draft bills on private law, and is a member of the editorial board of Revista Jurídica de Catalunya and the Barcelona Bar Association.
