Florentino Carreño

Mr. Carreño advises financial institutions on developing international structures to meet their needs and the needs of their clients. He specializes in designing financial structures and services aimed at establishing funds and developing the financial activities of institutions in Spain, including structuring private equity, hedge funds, and insurance.

He is an expert in designing financing schemes for acquisitions and in the correct structuring of assets for clients with international and cross-border activities.

With the opening of the London office of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, Mr. Carreño transferred to London in June 2006, where he remained until September 2009.

He lectures regularly on courses and at conferences , and has published several books and articles related to his specialty in Spain and abroad, both for general and specialized publications such as European Lawyer, International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, and Tax Notes International (Tax Analysts).

He belongs to the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, and is a member of its Executive Committee. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association, the American Bar Association and the Madrid Bar Association.
