Francesc Vicent

He is a renowned expert in corporate law. He advises clients and in-house lawyers on law mainly concerning companies, the commercial registry, accountancy, competition, intellectual property, contracts, the financial market, and bankruptcy.

Currently a professor of corporate law at Universidad de Valencia, after a three-year temporary placement at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, he has also lectured at Universidad de Murcia and Universidad de Alicante.

He has overseen 14 PhD theses and is the director of the Biblioteca Jurídica Cuatrecasas, published since 1995. He directs the journal Revista Jurídica-CIRIEC España on social economy law, the “Company law” and “Financial law and corporate contracts” sections of Revista General de Derecho, and is a member of its editorial board. He also sits on the editorial boards of Cuadernos de Derecho y Comercio, Justicia Alternativa. Derecho Arbitral, Derecho de los Negocios and Revista de Derecho Patrimonial. 

He delivers between 10 and 20 conferences annually in various academic and professional forums and is chairman of the Fifth Section of the Jurado de Autocontrol de la Publicidad. He is also member of the Barcelona Bar Association and the Valencia Bar Association.
