Francisco Ballester

Mr. Ballester is a founding partner and deputy managing director of the law firm Olivencia-Ballester, currently merged with Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira.

He has extensive experience in corporate governance, advising the boards of directors and governing bodies of which he is a member of several companies, particularly family businesses.

He has participated in all kinds of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and investments, as well as a wide range of restructurings and refinancing transactions, and many negotiation processes. He also has ample experience in drafting industrial agreements, in the directors liability regime and in the correct operation of boards of directors.

Mr. Ballester has lectured as assistant lecturer on and directed the course for the Chair of Corporate Law in the faculties of law, and of economics and business studies in Sevilla.

He has been a lecturer in the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses at Instituto de Estudios Jurídicos y Empresariales de Cajasol since 1990, and director of the master since 1998.

He lectures and participates in courses, seminars and round tables on corporate law, particularly company law. He is a consulting lawyer to the boards of directors of several companies and the secretary of the boards of trustees of several foundations.
