Ignacio Allende

Mr. Allende specializes in taxation in the Basque Country and international tax planning. He has ample experience in mergers, acquisitions, and business group restructurings, as well as in the taxation of new technologies.

Mr. Allende lectures on the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses and the Master in eBusiness at the Universidad de Deusto.

He also speaks regularly at conferences specializing in tax and at training seminars organized by associations such as APD, CEBEK, IFAES, IIR, SEA, and the chambers of commerce of Álava, Bilbao, and Guipuzcoa.

He is the coauthor of the books Comentarios al Impuesto sobre la Renta de las Personas Físicas (Comments on Personal Income Tax), (Aranzadi, 2000 and 2003); Comentarios al Impuesto sobre Sociedades (Comments on Corporate Income Tax), (Civitas, 1998 and 2001); and Guía del Impuesto sobre Sociedades en el País Vasco (Guide to Corporate Income Tax in the Basque Country), (CISS, 1997).

He is the author and coordinator of the book Las nuevas medidas fiscales del País Vasco (New tax measures in the Basque Country), published by Cuatrecasas in 1993, and helped the draft the book Reforma de la legislación mercantil (The reform of corporate legislation), Arthur Andersen, 1989.

He also writes articles on taxation in the Basque Country in the economic press and is a member of the International Fiscal Association.
