Ignacio Balañá

Mr. Balañá has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, private M&A and private equity. He has adviced national and international business group on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring and project finance. He aslso has ample experience in advisingcorporate groups and family business.

Mr. Balañá completed a secondment in the corporate department of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, from February 2002 to March 2003.

He lectures on corporate law at Universidad Pontificia ICADE and frequently speaks at institutions such as the Madrid Bar Association, the Confederación Española de Cajas de Ahorros and the Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección (APD). He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
