Isabel Fano

Ms. Fano has focused her career on advising Spanish companies on establishing themselves abroad and foreign companies on investing in Spain. She has ample experience in emerging economies (Asia, Latin America, and North Africa).

Of her main areas of specialty, she is particularly experienced in advising on transfer pricing and on the indirect taxation of international companies.

Ms. Fano is the correspondent in Spain for the European American Tax Institute and lectures on the Advanced Master in Tax Consultancy at the Universidad de Deusto.

She is co-author of the books Comentarios a la Ley del Impuesto sobre la Renta de No Residentes (Comments on the Act on income tax for non residents), (Aranzadi, 2003); and M&A-Protecting the Purchaser, AIJA, Kluwer Law International, 2005. She speaks regularly at conferences and writes articles on tax matters.
