Jaume Bonet

Mr. Bonet is a partner at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira and a member of the Tax Litigation Group. He has extensive experience in defending taxpayers' interests before the administration, the economic-administrative tribunals, and the law courts.

He is an expert in defending the rights of parties liable for tax payments against abusive practices by the tax authorities in tax-inspection and management proceedings, as well as in the transfer of liability and company successions.

He has participated in many tax settlement appeals and in reporting infringements by national laws of EC Directives.

Mr. Bonet lectures on Tax Law I at ESADE, Universitat Ramón Llull. He has written several articles and reports on tax proceedings, and has participated in many conferences on taxpayers' rights. He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
