Javier Chalbaud

Mr. Chalbaud has ample experience in advising companies on mergers and acquisitions and performing due diligences for buyers and sellers.

He specializes in restructuring company groups and inheritance planning, and has extensive experience in establishing and developing family business protocols.

Mr. Chalbaud lectured for many years on family and corporate law in the Master in Tax Law at the Universidad de Deusto.

He has also held important positions on the governing bodies of several companies: he was chairman of the board of directors of Editorial Iparraguirre, S.A., director on the boards of directors of several companies, e.g., Arteche Lantegi Elkartea, S.A. and Diario de Jaén, S.A, and secretary non-director on the boards of directors of various companies. He is the secretary of several non-profit organizations, such as Fundación Aventura Solidaria and Fundación Novia Salcedo.

He has been a member of the Vizcaya Bar Association since 1978.
