Javier Hervás

Mr. Hervás specializes in labor relations and sports law, and has extensive experience in collective bargaining, and in negotiating and drafting contracts for top executives and professional athletes.

He has ample experience in negotiating collective labor agreements and corporate restructuring, executive hiring, and designing compensation packages and loyalty incentives.

Mr. Hervás is director of two master programs at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE): the Master in Human Resources Management and the Master in Sports ISDE-Editorial Unit.

He regularly lectures and moderates at forums and training courses organized by Randstad, the Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission, the Fédération International de Droit Européen, and ISDE.

He has collaborated on doctrinal publications specializing in labor and sports law, as well as in the specialized press.

Some of his recent works are: El Deporte en la Jurisprudencia (Sports in Case Law, Aranzadi, 2009), El Deporte Profesional (Professional Sports, Bosch, 2009) and the newspaper article, Aquí, frente a la reforma laboral (Here, Facing Labor Reform, El Mundo, 2010).
