Joaquim Llorens

An expert in public law, Mr. Llorens has held several responsible government positions.

He was a member and secretary of the Girona Town Planning Committee, secretary of the Catalan Expropriation Board in Girona, head of the Catalan Regional Government's local authorities' territorial service in Girona and secretary of the Town Councils of Escala and Llagostera.

He is the author of several publications and articles and has delivered conferences on town planning in Catalonia and France. He lectures at the Catalan Regional Government's Escuela de Administración Pública, in postgraduate courses on town planning at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and in the Masters in Local Law Management at Universidad de Girona and Universidad Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona.
