Joaquín Cuesta

Mr. Cuesta has particular expertise in the taxation of multinational groups, the acquisition and transfer of companies, and company restructurings, having mainly advised clients in the venture capital, engineering, and distribution sectors.

He has ample experience in advising on implementing wage structures for managers, in consolidated groups, in family business groups, and in the field of look-through entities.

Mr. Cuesta is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on corporate restructuring and optimizing the wage structures of managerial teams, organized by the chambers of commerce of the autonomous region of Andalusia, ESIC and ICEX.

He lectures in the Master of Laws at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide de Sevilla.

He wrote the chapter on look-through entities in the book Comentarios al Impuesto sobre la Renta de las Personas Físicas (Comments on personal income tax), published by Editorial Aranzadi, and several chapters on the tax aspects of company acquisitions in the book Régimen jurídico y tributario del capital riesgo en España. Entidades y operaciones (Venture capital and the legal and tax system in Spain. Entities and transactions), published by Editorial Marcial Pons.

He also writes regularly for the journal Revista Aranzadi Doctrinal and writes articles on taxation in the press.
