In recent years, he has mainly advised on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, arbitrations and corporate litigation.
Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1980, the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
From 2005 to 2007, he was a member of the General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.
He is head of the delegation of the Portuguese Bar Association to the CCBE and a member of the board of ASAP (an association of Portuguese law firms).
He is a guest lecturer at the School of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University of Porto.
