In recent years, he has mainly advised on mergers and acquisitions in the energy, infrastructures and transport sectors, as well as on leveraged buy-outs, private equity, corporate reorganizations, financial transactions, the structuring of investments in real estate assets and project finance.

Partner of Luiz Gomes & Associados from 1994 to March of 2005.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1992. 

He was an associate and visiting lecturer of banking, commercial and labor law at the Lusíada University of Lisbon until 2006.
