José Mª Echeverría-Torres

An expert in the taxation of company mergers and acquisitions, and in the tax aspects of business restructuring transactions, Mr. Echeverría-Torres also has extensive experience in advising large Spanish business groups subject to the tax consolidation regime.

He specializes in the energy sector, has extensive knowledge of the tax issues facing companies in this sector, and has ample experience in the tax implications of developing and transferring renewable energy projects (e.g., photovoltaic, solar thermal, and wind energy).

Mr. Echeverría-Torres collaborates regularly in various forums specializing in tax, and lectures at courses and seminars organized by forums and institutions, such as the Madrid Bar Association, IFAES and the Higher School of Business Administration (ESADE).
