José Mª Paret

He is one Spain’s top lawyers in economic criminal law and business-related criminal law, and has been practicing in this area since 1991. He has participated in courts throughout the country in various, and particularly complex, criminal proceedings of great public interest.

He also has extensive experience in economic crime and offenses against the tax authorities, offenses against safety in the workplace, negligent homicide due to malpractice, and offenses against the environment.

He has spoken at several prestigious forums on the civil and criminal liability of managers and directors. He is also the author of several research papers and publications on issues related to criminal law and business.

He is member of the Barcelona Bar Association.
