Juan Grima

Managing partner of the Valencia office. He specializes in M&A and family businesses.

He has focused his practice on buying and selling companies, joint ventures, refinancing, and corporate restructurings. He also specializes in international contracts, advising national and foreign clients on all kinds of commercial transactions, particularly in the financial and real estate sectors.

In recent years, he has focused on advising family businesses, and on private equity and venture capital transactions.

He is the secretary of the boards of directors of several companies, advising on company, contractual and corporate matters.

From 2000 to 2004, he was an associate lecture of corporate law at the Universidad de Valencia. He lectures on different courses and programs (e.g., Master in Law-Bar Association, INEDE, APD, etc.), and regularly speaks at legal events.

He is co-author of the several books, such as El Buen Gobierno de las Empresas Familiares (The Good Governance of Family Businesses-Aranzadi, 2003), Régimen jurídico y tributario del capital riesgo en España (Legal and Tax System of Venture Capital in Spain-Marcial Pons, 2006), and El Patrimonio Familiar, Profesional y Empresarial. Sus Protocolos (Family, business and professional assets: Their protocols-Bosch, 2005).
