Juan Antonio Linares

Mr. Linares specializes in labor relations and has extensive experience in collective dismissals, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, top executive contracts, and defending clients in labor courts and labor inspections.

He is a member of the Pharmacy Group at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, regularly advising companies in the chemical, industry, banking and call-center sectors.

He was a lawyer for the Wages Guarantee Fund (Labor and Social Security Ministry) from 1993 to 1995, working in the secretary general's office and defending provincial units.

Between 1996 and 1998, Mr. Linares took part on a permanent basis in the Plan to Reinforce the Labor Division of the Madrid Superior Court of Justice, as an alternate judge dealing with dismissal disputes.

He has been an associate lecturer of labor and social security law at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, and lectures in the Advanced Master in Human Resources at the Centro de Estudios Financieros in Madrid.

Mr. Linares has contributed to several publications such as Prescripción y Caducidad (Statute of Limitations and Expiration) in Cuadernos de derecho procesal laboral (Working papers on Procedural Labor Law), Manual Jurídico de Empresa (Legal Business Manual, Aranzadi) and Guía Jurídica de Altos Directivos (Legal Guide for Top Executives).
