Luis Olivencia

Mr. Olivencia is a partner of the law firm Olivencia-Ballester absorbed by Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira. He specializes in advising on corporate, arbitration, bankruptcy and Community issues.

He worked for the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and for the secretariat of the European Parliament.

He has extensive experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, and bankruptcy proceedings, as well as in the merger processes of financial entities.

Mr. Olivencia is an associate lecturer at the Department of Corporate Law of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Sevilla, and a guest lecturer at the Universidad de Leipzig. He also regularly lectures on the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses at the Instituto Cajasol, and at various business and legal forums.

He is the author of legal publications on bankruptcy and banking, and articles of opinion.

He is a member of the Seville Bar Association.
