Luis Álvarez de la Vega

Mr. Álvarez de la Vega is a specialist in corporate, financial and regulatory law. He advises both national and international credit institutions, insurance companies, venture capital entities, collective investment institutions and investment firms.

He has ample experience in mergers and acquisitions; designing and implementing joint-venture agreements in the banking, financial and insurance sectors; banking law; regulatory compliance; capital markets; and structuring derivative financial instruments.

A member of the Madrid Bar Association, Mr. Álvarez de la Vega lectures on financial and company law in the Master in Financial Management at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid and on corporate contracts in the Master in Business Law at the Universidad de Navarra. He also speaks regularly on his areas of specialty at various universities and institutions in Madrid such as the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE, the Centro de Estudios Universitarios (CEU), the Institute for International Research (IIR), and the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF).
