Ms. Bauzá has ample experience in advising insurance companies on matters such as life insurance, pension plans, and brokerage, and in advising pension plan fund managers on the legal and regulatory aspects of pension plans. She also advises all types of companies on the tax and legal implications of outsourcing pension commitments made to their employees, as well as on designing compensation packages.
She has extensive knowledge and experience in insurance, social welfare benefits, and insurance brokerage. Her specialty encompasses the tax and legal aspects of group and individual life -insurance policies, unit-linked policies, pension plans (employment, associated and individual), mutual provident societies, insured pension plans, and other systems pertaining to social welfare insurance in general.
Ms. Bauzá lectures at the Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), in the Master in Legal Consultancy on Labor Relations (since 2004), a course on labor relations (since 2004), the Master in Compensation and Wage Benefits (since 2010), and in an annual course on news and updates (since 2002). Since 2008, she has been teaching in the Advanced Course on Insurance Law organized by the Investigación Cooperativa entre Entidades Aseguradoras (ICEA).
She has been an associate lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, teaching the course Complementary Social Benefits, later called Social Action in the Company for three years (1992-1993, 1993-1994 and 1994-1995).
She also lectures in the following university courses and masters programs: Master in Social Security and Employment Pension Plans, Universidad Carlos III, Colmenarejo-Madrid (2008); III Meeting of Young Researchers and Professionals, sponsored by the Universidad Carlos III, Colmenarejo-Madrid (2002); Course Specializing in Social Security, Fundación Juan Luis Vives of the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid (2002) ; Master in Tax Law, Universidad de Deusto, Bilbao (19961998); and the postgraduate course in social security law, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona (1996, 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2006).
Ms. Bauzá has also lectured at various educational institutes and business schools: Centro Universitario de Estudios Financieros, Instituto de Empresa, Confederación Española de Cajas de Ahorro , Escuela Superior de Cajas de Ahorro, Instituto de Fomento Empresarial, Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección, Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas, Institute for International Research, Eurotraining, Instituto Superior de Técnicas y Prácticas Bancarias, International Faculty for Executives, Instituto de Estudios Superiores del Seguro, CEF, ICEA, and Aula Financiera & Fiscal.
She regularly gives talks on subjects involving her specialty, and contributes to press publications ( Expansión, Cinco Días, Negocios, La Gaceta de los Negocios , etc.) and other media outlets (Radio Intereconomía, Bloomberg TV).
