Mª Luisa Osuna

Ms. Osuna has ample experience in industrial and intellectual property, e-commerce, data protection, advertising and image rights, franchising, and distribution and agency. She advises clients on all matters related to these fields and pre-litigation matters, and helps them to draft and negotiate contracts.

She advises on issues relating to information technology and technology transfer, and has particular expertise in computer outsourcing transactions.

She specializes in pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology and life sciences, advising clients in these sectors on contractual and regulatory matters, particularly regarding promoting and advertising medical and health products.

She also specializes in advising leading national and multinational companies, and athletes and artists on image rights, advertising, trademark licensing and sponsorship contracts.

Ms. Osuna is a member of the Spanish branch of the License Executive Society and of the Spanish Association of Sports Law.

She works regularly with the Centro de Estudios para el Fomento de la Investigación (Study Center for the Promotion of Research), publishing articles in Cuadernos de Derecho Farmacéutico (Journals on Pharmaceutical Law) and lecturing in the Course on Pharmaceutical Law, organized annually by the center.

She is the author of various works and speaks at forums on her specialty. Her written works include:

Co-authorship of the chapter on Spain in Right of Publicity 2012 and Right of Publicity 2011, published by Getting the Deal Through, as well as collaboration on the Spanish chapter in International Pharmaceutical Review, 2006.
