Partner of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira since 1990.

In addition to comprehensive general employment advice, in recent years, she has advised on matters such as restructuring companies involving a workforce reduction, particularly through collective dismissals; redesigning supplementary benefit plans; advising on corporate acquisition models; and company transfers.

She mainly specializes in the services sector (e.g., information technology, hotel and catering, consultancy, financial institutions), the distribution sector (e.g., cars, clothing and food) and the industry sector.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association, since 1987.

Member of the International Bar Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association.

She was a legal advisor at the Foreign Investment Institute from 1988 to 1989. 

She lectured on business law at ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão from 1987 to 1992, and from 1980 to 1987, she was a lecturer and a researcher of business law at the Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon. 

Among several publications, she is Co-Author of the New Labour Code with Notes and Comments.

 

Law Degree from the University of Coimbra Law School, in 1979.

Acknowledged by the Portuguese Bar as specialist Labour Lawyer.
