Nuria Nicolau

Ms. Nicolau has ample experience in representing taxpayers in all types of tax proceedings before the tax authorities, and specializes in handling disputes over tax at courts of all types and levels (the economic-administrative courts, the lower courts and the high courts of justice, the Central Criminal and Administrative Court, the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court, and the European Court of Justice).

A member of the firm's Indirect Taxation Group, she specializes in the procedural and litigation aspects of indirect taxation (VAT, transfer tax and stamp duty, and customs duties and special taxes), as well as in matters concerning the local tax authorities.

She has helped draft articles on taxation, and speaks at presentations and conferences on tax proceedings and the rights of taxpayers.
