She has focused her practice on resolving disputes in and out of court, representing Portuguese and foreign clients in civil, commercial, criminal and employment disputes, and in arbitrations before Portuguese and foreign bodies.
The main projects on which she has advised in recent years include commercial law transactions (advising on all aspects of litigation and arbitration); disputes and arbitrations arising from sales agreements, the supply of goods and services, construction contracts, and distribution and agency agreements; disputes relating to corporate relations, advertising, industrial property, copyright and related rights, insurance, consumer litigation—advising service providers and goods suppliers; and advising creditors and debtors and representing them in insolvency proceedings.
From 1997 to 2003, she was a trainee-lawyer and lawyer of F. Castelo Branco, P. Rebelo de Sousa & Associados Sociedade de Advogados (Grupo Legal Portugujs, AEIE) and of P. Rebelo de Sousa & Associados, Simmons & Simmons.
Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 1997.
She lectures on interdisciplinary legal practice at the School of Law of Universidade Nova of Lisbon.
