Our TMT Group was created to offer clients in the TMT sector a highly specialized and industry-focused service by a coordinated group of professionals from the firm’s different disciplines, each with extensive knowledge of the markets and technologies concerned. IT: We advise on the legal protection of software and computer products, Internet service provision and Internet content, e-commerce and electronic contracting, and protection and recovery of domain names, as well as personal data protection in the digital market.
Media: We provide legal advice to media companies and agents on protecting content, access to communication services activities, marketing and advertising regulations, consumer protection, and freedom of speech and its limits, as well as on protecting image and publicity rights.
Telecommunications: We provide regulatory advice on the full range of issues affecting operators and service providers. We represent companies before the Spanish (CMT, SETSI), Portuguese (ANACOM), French (ARCEP) and EU (Commission, BEREC, EP) regulatory bodies, as well as within national and international industry associations (ECTA, ICC, ASTEL, AUTEL).
Administrative law: We advise on administrative proceedings (local, regional, national, EU and international authorities) and judicial appeals of administrative action.
Corporate & commercial: We draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts: telecommunications services, IT licensing and outsourcing, media and content contracts, TV and radio broadcast rights contracts, distribution, etc.
Litigation: We advise on disputes, using the full range of alternative solutions (settlement negotiations, regulatory intervention, ADR, litigation and arbitration).
