American Bar Association‘s (ABA) international labor and employment law committee holds a networking session at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira



Over 100 labor lawyers attend meeting coinciding with annual conference of ABA’s International Labor and Employment Law Committee

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira organized a networking session as part of the  2015 Midyear Meeting of the International Labor and Employment Law Committee, that the ABA is holding this week in Barcelona.

Over 100 labor lawyers attended the cocktail reception that the firm hosted at its Barcelona offices. Salvador del Rey, chair of the Cuatrecasas International Institute, Rubén Agote, labor law partner, and  Miguel Trías, managing partner of the Barcelona office, acted as the hosts. 

According to Rubén Agote, “The United States is a fundamental jurisdiction for Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s international strategy. It is an honor that so many representatives of the ABA are attending such an important conference, all the more so because they have chosen our offices as the meeting place to develop their professional relations.”

One of the committee’s co-chairs, lawyer Danny J. Kaufer, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s organization and during the reception he praised Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s hospitality and the success of the conference.

The ABA is holding its Midyear Meeting of the International Labor and Employment Law Committee in Barcelona from May 3 to May 7. Over 70 speakers, organized in 15 panels, will speak on the latest and most significant labor law matters including work flexibility; mediation; international mobility; the role of workers, leaders and unions in the digital environment; and the labor law outlook in the European Union and Spain.
