Under the agreement that IEMed’s CEO Andreu Bassols and the managing partner of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s Barcelona office Miguel Trías signed, the two entities will develop a collection of Policy Oriented Papers. In this collection, experts in the Euro-Mediterranean area will propose policy-oriented guidelines to define new and more secure legislative frameworks offering better guarantees to foreign companies working in or wishing to invest in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean countries. IEMed and Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira will also tackle these issues by organizing debates and specific sessions at international conferences.

The agreement reinforces Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira's international expansion in the Mediterranean. With a clear vocation as a think tank and over 20 years of activity in the region, from its headquarters in Barcelona IEMed promotes actions and projects that contribute to mutual knowledge, exchange and cooperation between the different Mediterranean countries. In the field of socioeconomic development it is in constant contact with the financial and social actors of the region, as well as with international financial analysis networks and bodies specializing in socioeconomic relations, and it analyzes and reflects on the main financial tendencies and the reforms of key sectors for modernizing and developing the Southern markets.
