HMS Industrial Networks AB, a listed company on the Stockholm Nasdaq and a world-leading provider of industrial automation technology, acquired the Spanish company Intensis Software, S.L., which specializes in building automation systems.

Cuatrecasas advised HMS Network on this transaction through a multidisciplinary team led by partner Marco A. Sanz and associate Jessel A. Contreras (M&A). Also participating were associates Guadalupe Díaz-Súnico (Tax)Lara Vivas, José María Martinez (Labor and Employment), José Luis García de Cal (Public Law), Daniel Urbán and Claudia Morgado (Intellectual Property).

With the acquisition of Intesis, HMS Industrial Networks widens its range of products in the global market and penetrates the Spanish market. The Spanish company will operate independently within HMS, keeping its current offices in Igualada (Barcelona), and will have the support and resources of the Swedish technology company.
