Transparency, flexibility and commitment, keys to retaining talent in organizations

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira discusses with multinational companies the challenges of forming leaders for the future
 
Within a context in which professional life has diversified and the demand for flexibility increased, large-scale global undertakings are looking to offer projects encouraging talent and the participation of collaborators in corporate culture. At the same time, there must be transparency in the management of professional careers.
 
These were some of the conclusions reached by Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira along with other leading multinationals such as Abertis, Agbar and Colt Technology, in the seminar on ‘Capturing and retaining the talent in companies in the 21st century,’ organized in collaboration with the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain.

The session was held at the Barcelona office and was attended by dozens of experts in the field.

Nuria Martín, the firm’s deputy manager of Human Resources, emphasized the Rolling Target program and Be Digital project as two measures the firm is implementing to commit to talent, offer personalized professional careers and start up projects fostering the interrelationship of teams and encouraging flexibility.

 
Martín explained that “we are looking for professionals to develop their careers with us and to do so we provide the tools and incentives to keep them committed and improve their employability in the event they should decide to undertake new activities.”
 
The session concluded with words from the Financial Taxation partner Adolfo Rovira who underlined the importance of incorporating aspects such as communication and transparency into the relationship between the company and its professionals, as well as ensuring they participate in all actions of corporate social responsibility to increase their commitment to the organization itself, the teams and the corporate environment.
