Cuatrecasas advises Carson on selling Supersol supermarket chain to Carrefour

Cuatrecasas advised Carson, the investment arm of the Lithuanian VP Group, which owns Supersol Spain, on selling the supermarket chain to the French group Carrefour. With this acquisition, Carrefour adds 172 stores to the Spanish market, mostly located in Andalusia and Madrid, with a turnover of €477 million in 2019.

The advisory team for this transaction was led by Corporate and Commercial partner Mariano Úcar, with the participation of associates Pedro Lopéz-Dóriga, Javier Rovira and Carlota Tojo, and Labor and Employment partner Jorge Aranaz.
