Cuatrecasas advises Codere México on €250-million super senior bond issue

The Cuatrecasas team in Mexico has advised Codere México on issuing €250 million in super senior bonds due September 2023. The bonds were issued by Codere Finance 2 (Luxembourg) and guaranteed by several subsidiaries of the Codere Group.

This transaction is of utmost importance for the Codere Group as it allows it to meet its liquidity needs and strengthen its financial situation in the COVID-19 pandemic. Legal advisors from many jurisdictions—including Mexico, Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom—participated in the transaction.
