Cuatrecasas advised Levitec Sistemas on an agreement with PFP II—an independent producer of renewable energy, majority-owned by the international infrastructure fund CUBE—to build a 50 MW photovoltaic plant in Calatorao (Zaragoza), Spain.

Levitec Sistemas specializes in medium- and low-voltage electrical projects, telecommunications, air conditioning, security, renewable energy and services related to the industrial sector. The company operates throughout Spain with international projects in Europe and Latin America.

Cuatrecasas lawyers from the Zaragoza office Antonio García, Ignacio Liria and Carolina Artigot advised Levitec Sistemas on this transaction.

The project already has all the necessary land, administrative authorizations, environmental permits, and internet access and connection to start building. The estimated investment will be €40 million.

This is one of the first installations by the company in the renewable energies sector—to which it adds a portfolio of 500 MW projects between photovoltaic and wind energy with access and authorized connection to the grid—that will be carried out entirely in the provinces of Huesca and Zaragoza (Aragón).
