Cuatrecasas lawyers have advised Lookiero, a Spanish startup offering online personal shopper services, on a round of financing (series C) worth €25.5 million.
Led by Perwyn, the round of financing had the support of MMC Ventures, All Iron Ventures and Bonsai Partners. Thanks to this transaction, the company will be able to move ahead with its international expansion and strengthen its position as a leading online personal shopper in Europe.
Bilbao-based Cuatrecasas lawyers José Ramón Berecibar, Santiago Bayo and Jon Lanz led the advisory service to Lookiero. Perwyn was advised by lawyers from the London and Madrid offices of Squire Patton Boggs.
Thanks to this capital injection, Lookiero, a startup born in 2015 and now with over 400 employees and over 3 million registered users, will be able to start operations in Germany and will reinforce its position on its main markets: Spain, France, the UK and Italy. Also, this round of financing will help (i) improve the company’s current proposal, and (ii) develop new ways of strengthening the algorithm that is key to its business.
