Cuatrecasas has advised Orión Fibra E, energy and infrastructure investment trust fund, on acquiring Desarrollos Carreteros del Estado de Durango, S.A. de C.V. (Decarred), a concessionary company of ten toll-free road sections in the state of Durango, Mexico. The value of the transaction is 1,578.200 million Mexican pesos.
This road asset acquisition is Orión Fibra E’s second, and it was carried out by the holders of the senior energy and infrastructure investment trust bonds identified with the ticker symbol FORION 20 exercising their subscription rights. This acquisition is a strategic step in the growth of Orión Fibra E.
The Cuatrecasas team that took part in the transaction was made up of lawyers Marco Antonio de la Peña, Santiago Ferrer, Juan Carlos Galicia, Iván Esquivel and Ana Isabel Echeverría.
Orión Fibra E is a Mexican financial vehicle set up in 2015 whose purpose is managing investments in stabilized infrastructure and energy projects
