Cuatrecasas advised Satlantis, a leading company providing Earth observation through microsatellites, on a capital increase of €14 million. This new investment round enables companies such as Enagás (through its subsidiary Enagás Emprende) and Sepides, belonging to SEPI (state-owned industrial holding company), to enter the shareholding.

Thanks to this transaction, the Basque company receives the capital it needs to develop the best technology for detecting methane emissions which, so far, has not been possible with satellites. This investment will enable the development of technology that could help prevent climate change and promote the industrial development of a more sustainable world.

The team handling this transaction was made up of José Ramón Berecibar, Ander Barroetabeña and Daniel Acedo.
