London, January 28, 2015

Act 26/2014, of November 28, amends Spanish personal income tax, nonresident income tax and gift and inheritance tax. The new legislation came into force on January 1, 2015.

Our breakfast seminar will address key concerns and cover important issues to be taken into account when advising wealthy Spanish individuals investing abroad, non-resident individuals, and those considering moving to Spain or who have Spanish assets. The seminar will be of particular interest to individuals and financial institutions that deal with Spanish individuals resident in Spain and nonresidents with an interest in Spain. We will discuss the main tax reforms, specifically those relating to the following topics:

- Capital gains tax
- The impatriate tax regime
- Automatic exchange of information
- Application of regional deductions to gift and inheritance tax when the deceased or beneficiaries are EU tax residents
