Recruiting Santiago Ferrer is a firm commitment to reinforcing the Mexican office, which opened at the beginning of the year to offer comprehensive legal advice on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), project financing, arbitration, and tax, practices in which the office is already active.

The new partner will head Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s Mexican Law Practice, from his specialty in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law, as well as his wealth of experience in key sectors including real estate, consumer, infrastructures and healthcare law.

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira’s Senior President, Rafael Fontana, highly values this appointment: “We are very pleased that Santiago has joined the firm. His experience and professional skills, together with an in-depth knowledge of the Mexican market, are ideal for developing such an exciting project as our office in Mexico.
