Cuatrecasas partners Diana Rivera and Marco Antonio Sanz have received the “40 Under Forty Award” from the leading publication Iberian Lawyer for their track record and achievements in law.

The prize ceremony was held last night at the Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I hotel in Barcelona, at which there was a large turnout from the legal sector.

Ms. Rivera and Mr. Sanz, partners in the firm’s M&A Practice, combine their work as lawyers with other positions of responsibility at the firm and have a strong international outlook. Diana Rivera received an “Outstanding Achievement Award” for her merits and performance, an award that only three other lawyers of the select group received.

The awards are granted every two years to the lawyers under 40 representing the main business law firms and companies. The panel is made up of a select group of independent legal experts, leading lawyers, internal advisors and academics.

The award ceremony was held before the Legal Summit, a conference covering the challenges facing the legal sector concerning clients, talent and technology.
