February 27, 2014

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira closed 2013 with a consolidated growth of 1%, which enabled it to achieve a gross billing of 248 million euro. With this result, the Firm achieves its objectives in a year that was difficult for the Portuguese and Spanish economies, although with more favourable indicators in the last months.

It should be noted that Portugal had a growth of 6.4% of its billing comparing to last year. Diogo Perestrelo, co-managing partner, emphasises the “excellent” results and attributes this growth to the “continued trust placed by our clients in our team”. Maria João Ricou, co-managing partner, also observes that she “believes that the effort and talent of our lawyers and employees will continue to be the engine of the sound growth of our Firm”.

We also highlight the important contribution of the international offices (22.8% on the whole) for the global results of the Firm, which fact shows the sustained internationalisation of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira.
