Regional government of Andalusia grants award to Manuel Olivencia

The regional government of Andalusia held an event to pay tribute to the Magna Carta, which celebrates its 39th year on December 6. The government paid tribute to individuals, entities and institutions that have defended and promoted the values of the Spanish Constitution in their personal and professional lives. Among them was Manuel Olivencia, honorary chair at Cuatrecasas, who was granted one of the Plaza de España awards.

The other award winners were Alfonso Guerra, former deputy prime minister; the singer Raphael; Airbus España; Diario de Cádiz, local newspaper; the Tour of Spain bicycle race; the Red Cross of Andalusia; and Fundación Persán.

The Spanish minister of the interior, Juan Ignacio Zoido, presided over the event together with Antonio Sanz, the government delegate in Andalusia, and they presented the Plaza de España awards to the winners.
